Legendary thrashers Annihilator, led by their fearless band leader Jeff Waters, have announced they will be undertaking their first Canadian touring trek since 1993! This comes as the group is finishing up recording its sixteenth studio offering, slated for released later this year. They also have a scheduled appearance at Germany’s Wacken Open Air festival on August 3rd.

The tour will see the band kick off their first date in Victoria, BC on June 13th and travel east, wrapping up the tour in Cornwall, ON July 1st, during Canada Day weekend festivities. This is very big news for Canadian metal fans both young and “older”, who have waited over 20 years for an Annihilator tour to return to Canadian soil!

Support on this tour comes from Australia’s Mason, who was Annihilator’s support in Europe last year, and from Montreal, thrashers Mutank, winners of the acclaimed Wacken Metal Battle Canada contest in 2014.
