GRAND DELUSION ‘Supreme Machine’ Album Review & Stream

Swedish heavy rock quartet Grand Delusion is back with another fantastic offering, the six-song ‘Supreme Machine‘.

With one foot firmly planted in the past and the other in the modern-day, the music possesses an epic reach. Thick, fuzzy riffs, tight rhythms, and powerfully beefy vocals permeate the content here. It is thoroughly metallic and as solid as steel itself, never relaying a dull moment. Those traits are dutifully executed by Björn Wahlberg (vocals, guitar), Per Clevfors (guitar), Mikael Olsson (bass, keys, backing vocals), and Magnus Rehnman (drums).

At times there are noticeable nods to the NWOBHM, as well as tinges of doom and European power metal. Perhaps Frazer Jones at Desert Psychlist said it best when he likened the music here comparable to “Grand Magus on harder drugs!!!” I think that pretty well sums it up.

Now I invite you to stream Grand Delusion‘s ‘Supreme Machine‘ via the Bandcamp embed below. This awesome release needs to be shared with the world for sure!
