The London, U.K.-based power trio Rock Goddess has returned with a new EP, ‘It’s More Than Rock And Roll‘, that will see release on May 19th.

An official video for the EP’s title track is premiering today and is streaming below. The release will receive digital distribution via Cargo Records while physical CDs, with a four-page booklet in a jewel case, will be available from Rock Goddess directly.

The EP and Rock Goddess themselves, Jody Turner (guitar/vocals), Tracey Lamb (bass), and Julie Turner (drums), are quite an amazing story, really. In the 1980s, Rock Goddess originally made a name for themselves by delivering powerful, riff-driven hard rock music. The band reunited in 2013, and have since been establishing themselves as the same energized live entity as they were known as three decades ago.

The ‘It’s More Than Rock And Roll‘ EP, the first new Rock Goddess release since their 1983 self-titled début, is the next step in the band’s evolution. Comprised of three songs, the title track, ‘Back Off‘ and ‘We’re All Metal‘, the release promises to establish the band’s relevancy in the modern age of hard rock.

Digital copies of the new EP can be pre-ordered here, and the physical edition, limited to 500 signed and numbered copies, here.
