Twin Earth Records is excited to announce they are preparing to release the vinyl format of Heavy Traffic‘s Plastic Surgery‘ album on May 26th. The release will be available in limited edition color (100 white/green mix) and black, both on 140-gram vinyl. Pre-orders will be available beginning May 5th.

The origins of Heavy Traffic date back to lead guitarist Ian Caddick and drummer/vocalist Tav Palumbo’s earlier band together, Spanish Moss. The duo went on to form Heavy Traffic, where they cranked out a respectable five albums in less than two years. After relocating to Brooklyn, N.Y. in July of 2015, they put together an actual working band and began playing live.

‘Plastic Surgery’ is the band’s first album featuring new members David Grzedzinski and Dan Bradica. It was recorded in March of 2016, then mixed and mastered over the next few following months. It is Heavy Traffic‘s most accomplished work to date and channels the group’s heavy psych rock, noise, doom, punk, and shoegaze elements quite powerfully.
