Kyle Shutt’s DOOM SIDE OF THE MOON Pink Floyd Tribute Issues ‘Time’ Video

Guitarist Kyle Shutt of The Sword recently revealed he was working on an ambitious solo release. That undertaking was his own tribute to Pink Floyd and their seminal landmark album, “Dark Side Of The Moon“.

Titled Doom Side Of The Moon, the resulting band and album features Shutt along with a host of celebrated musicians, including his band mates from The Sword, bassist Bryan Richie and drummer Santiago Vela III, vocalist Alex Marrero (Brownout / Brown Sabbath), saxophonist Jason Frey (Black Joe Lewis / Hard Proof), and keyboardist Joe Cornetti (Croy & The Boys).

Engineered and mixed by Stuart Sikes (White Stripes, Rocket From The Crypt), the LP will be released on August 4th. This date is significant, in which it marks the 50th anniversary of the release of the British band’s début album, The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn.

Today, Doom Side Of The Moon is debuting their first visualizer video to surface from the upcoming tribute release, for the hit song “Time“. Trip out to Doom Side Of The Moon‘s “Time” video below.

Directed by Robert Mustachio of The Mustachio Light Show (Levitation, Desert Daze, NRMAL), the video mimics portions of the “visual trip-scape” laser show that Mustachio will unleash during Doom Side Of The Moon‘s live début on Saturday, August 5th at Emo’s in Austin, TX.

To further properly enjoy the video, Shutt has offered a “to-do” list for the viewer to thoroughly enjoy the clip. Here’s that step by step preparation:

7 Easy Steps to watch “Time” by Doom Side Of The Moon:

1.) Turn on your PS4
