Iconic NWOBHM legends Pagan Altar recently announced the release of their self-proclaimed “last” studio album, “The Room Of Shadows“.  It will be available on CD, cassette, and vinyl through the Canadian label Temple Of Mystery Records on August 24th, 2017.

The album, originally intended to be outed as ‘Never Quite Dead’ in 2014, suffered various setbacks and delays that hindered the record’s release.  The biggest of these was the tragic passing of beloved vocalist Terry Jones from cancer in that same year.  After the loss, the recordings were completely redone with Alan Jones on guitar, along with former Pagan Altar members Diccon Harper on bass and Andy Green on drums.

Jones, Harper and Green will subsequently team with Magic Circle frontman Brandon Radigan and Cauchemar guitarist Andres Arango as Time Lord (also the name of the EP by which Pagan Altar made their initial “comeback” return in 2004) at the Wings of Metal Festival in Montreal this year.

Adam Burke‘s artwork for “The Room Of Shadows” album was recently revealed and includes layout and graphics by Annick Giroux.
