Cleveland, Ohio’s atmospheric occult rock sect Ancient VVisdom have announced the details of their upcoming record release, “33“. It is due from Magic Bullet Records on the oh-so appropriate Friday the 13th of October. Evidence supports the theory that the fourth studio album from Ancient VVisdom will be yet another stunning homage to Son Of The Morning Star, Lucifer.
The core of AVV, brothers Nathan “Opposition” Jochum (vocals, acoustic guitar, kick drum) and Michael Jochum (guitar, backup vocals), are joined by new band member Connor Metsker on bass. The trio continue to explore previously established themes of earlier releases, those such as empowerment through Satanism, instinct, enlightenment, and ritual. 33 is the focal strongpoint of this recording and is regarded by the band as a “master number”. Frontman Nathan Jochum is quick to point out that it is the age that Christ was crucified, the age of the peak of existence, and the age he happened to be in making this album.

On a related note, Nathan Jochum just announced his involvement with legendary guitarist Dan Lorenzo (Hades, Non-Fiction, The Cursed) in the new project Vessel Of Light (details here).
