After a busy two years that saw The Sword release ‘High Country’, followed by the acoustic album ‘Low Country’ and the live album ‘Greetings From...’, the band are returning to the studio. They are doing so to begin recording their sixth studio record to be titled ‘Used Future‘.

The album is being produced by Tucker Martine (My Morning Jacket, The Decemberists, Modest Mouse) at Flora Recording and Playback in Portland, Oregon. Recording will be completed in early November with an early 2018 release date.

As usual, the band plans to support the release with a worldwide tour and details will be announced shortly. We will have further details on the album as well when they become available.

Current live dates:

Nov. 05 – Houston, TX – Foamhenge @ Karbach Brewing Co.
