ENTOMBED To Release ‘Clandestine’ Live 2016 Performance On 2CD/DVD [Video Trailer]

Swedish death metal legends Entombed‘s sophomore album, 1991’s ‘Clandestine‘, is a highly revered, iconic landmark album. At 25 years after its release, original band members Nicke Andersson, Uffe Cederlund, and Alex Hellid teamed up for a unique concert at Malmö Live in Malmö, Sweden on November 12th, 2016.

At that show, the pioneering work was played from beginning to end, from the opening “Living Dead” to the closing “Through The Collonades“. Presented last year in two acts, the first act the featured the full Malmö Symphony Orchestra and a choir who performed ‘Clandestine’, arranged for orchestra by Thomas Von Wachenfeldt.

The original members from Entombed sat in as part of the ensemble and performed with Orvar Säfström on vocals. In the second act, the band played the entire album live, in its original recorded version for the first time ever, with the addition of Edvin Aftonfalk on bass guitar and Robert Andersson on lead vocals.

Clandestine / Malmö‘ will be available on November 10th on a special edition 2CD + DVD with 5.1 HD sound in a deluxe media book featuring a double-sided poster.
