Musician Brian Fair, best known as the vocalist for the New England region’s metalcore unit Shadows Fall, is back in the spotlight with St. Louis, Missouri’s HELL NIGHT.

The two-song ‘Cancercise‘ EP was issued by the band on Christmas Day (December 25th) and is streaming in full here today. It includes the title track and B-Side, “The Sequel“.

HELL NIGHT‘s ‘Cancercise‘ was recorded at Encapsulated Studios in Maplewood, MO, and engineered, mixed, and mastered by Gabe Usery. It is the latest metallic assault from the band whose roster is filled out with Andy White (guitar), Eric Eyster (bass), and Adam Arseneau (drums) alongside Fair.

Since their last official activities in 2015, Fair’s former band, the Massachusetts-based Shadows Fall, has been inactive. Members have gone on to other gigs such as guitarist Johnathan Donais now being a member of Anthrax, and drummer Jason Bittner‘s recent spots in Toxik, Flotsam & Jetsam, and now officially, Overkill.

Fair has also stayed busy himself, with some periodic music projects and working within the music industry as a rep for Alvarez Guitars, Dixon Drums, and a number of other instrument lines.

With that said, it is good to hear him back commanding the mic in a clearly metal / hardcore / thrash-based, etc. band again with Missouri’s HELL NIGHT.
