The Pune, India-based purveyors of purely anarcho-punk power blasting, screamo-fueled hardcore, False Flag, has just released their sonic bomb of a Self-Titled EP.

Released on Christmas Day (December 25th), the explosive volatility of the band’s Shaunak Phadnis (Guitars, Vocals), Rohit Chaoji (Guitars), Kamran Raza (Bass), and Rakshith Herur (Drums) – created music that cannot be avoided.

With a name like False Flag and the band’s own explicitly DIY style and nature, these three songs deliver a furious protest indeed. Phadnis commented on the release, saying:

“The songs on this EP are reflections on alienation – ideological, societal and existential. The words here are informed by the experiences I’ve had during what proved to be the most difficult and crucial years of my intellectual, ideological and personal growth. It’s not difficult to see that they are also informed by ideas of Albert Camus and the Frankfurt school. While, Unbroken was composed around the words written by a very dear friend of mine.”

Light the fuse on this with the Bandcamp embedded stream below where, like any proper gift, the EP is currently available as an NYP (Name Your Price) Item.
