Boston, Massachusetts’ 3 Parts Dead might be a bit misleading with its name because there’s nothing dead or lifeless about the band whatsoever. In fact, the act is nearing its fifth year of activity in 2018 and closed out 2017 with its fiery 3-track ‘Master‘ EP.

The band was born from the ashes of Pretty Little Suicide, an act that achieved respectable attention for playing with bands like Motley Crüe and Hinder, as well as festivals such as Rocklahoma. As 3 Parts Dead, singer/guitarist Mike Patton, lead guitarist Mike “Fitz” Fitzback, and drummer Ramon Miquilena have quickly picked back up where PLS left off.

Master‘, the sophomore outing from 3 Parts Dead, is a quick, yet energetically fierce, rock ‘n roll based statement. Though it is a bit under twelve minutes in length, the music here is a lively, free-moving blaze of incendiary hard rock heaviness.

Each track, from “My Mistake” to “Summer Of Sam” and “The Mirror“, is fiery and infectious. Each is ignited with scorching guitars, solid rhythms, bombastic drumming, and topped off with some powerhouse vocals. They lack nothing in any department, each simmers with hypnotic-like appeal and anthem-worthy greatness.

Servitude never rocked so good! Submit to 3 Parts Dead‘s ‘Master‘ via the Bandcamp embed and you to will bow down to this superior entity of modern rock.
