The Swedish sludge ‘n doom behemoth known as FIREBREATHER premieres its epic, nearly 12-minutes in length official video for “Release The Lava“.

This punishing track of riff-fueled, aurally crushing heaviness hails from the band’s 2017 eponymous debut for Suicide Records. We are including an embedded stream of it below along with the band’s previously shared video for “The Ice Lord“.

Following in the footsteps of such monstrous entities as High On Fire, Lair Of The Minotaur, and similar ilk, FIREBREATHER emits a bleak battery of dense audibility. The band commented the following about this song:

‘Release the Lava’ is the longest and proggiest song off the album. It’s got a few twists and turns, following a story that’s heavily influenced by the animated movie Fire & Ice. It begins at a calm and peaceful place but brings you into the darkness fairly soon and keeps you there, under the burning sky.

Let’s immolate beneath that inflamed sky, shall we? You can stream / purchase the S/T Firebreather HERE.
