Gothenburg, Sweden’s MONOLORD have announced they will undertake a U.S. headlining tour in August, following their appearance at Psycho Las Vegas 2018.
The tour will see the band’s continued support for their acclaimed 2017 RidingEasy Records release, ‘Rust‘. The album has garnered universal praise and numerous accolades, including #1 Album Of The Year 2017 at Doom Charts. We are including the Bandcamp embed of ‘Rust‘ for streaming here, just in case you’ve somehow missed it.
MONOLORD‘s syrupy, groove-dense sludge and rumbling doom emissions are thunderous and enthralling. Guitarist/ vocalist Thomas Jäger, drummer Esben Willems, and bassist Mika Häkki create a massive, dynamic sound with ultra-low frequencies. If you have the opportunity to witness them doing such in the live setting, then do so or you may have to punish yourself later.
