Pennsylvania’s grunge exuding, alternative rocking, sludgy maestros of sound, BACKWOODS PAYBACK, has just announced the details of their new studio album release.
‘Future Slum‘ will arrive via CD, Vinyl, and Digital formats on August 3rd. We are psyched to be sharing its album artwork, tracklist, and a teaser video for the upcoming record.
The newest music from the trio of Mike Cummings (guitar, vocals), Jessica Baker (bass), and Erik Larson (drums) was recorded and mixed in February 2018, by Mike Bardzik at Noisy Little Critter in Downingtown, PA. It was mastered at The Mastering House by Tom Volpicicelli and features artwork from Nick Potts.

In related news, BACKWOODS PAYBACK will kick off some live dates this coming weekend, June 2nd, at the Shreading Festival 3 in Sinking Spring, Pennslyvania. The string of live performances will include the band’s very first appearance at this year’s Riff Relevant-sponsored MARYLAND DOOM FEST 2018 on Day 3, Sunday, June 24th. Find them all listed below.
