In a movement of six songs, Jyotiṣavedāṅga transmits a truly frightening deluge of abhorrent aural heaviness on their newest effort, ‘Thermogravimetry Warp Continuum‘.

Much like the band’s name – inspired by Vedāṅga Jyotiṣa, one of the earliest known Indian texts on astronomy and astrology – Jyotiṣavedāṅga explore the deepest recesses of balances. The lines relating between light and dark, order and chaos, the known and unknown, and ultimately, good and evil, are embodied in this aural output.

It is delivered with Lo-Fi density, achieved through death metal enhanced manifestations and other gruesome sonic distortions. Those are constructed and then let loose from this international collective. Its members consist of the guitarist Sadist from India’s TetragrammacideH. from Russia’s Sickrites on synths, noise, and effects; vocalist AR, from the Kolkata band Banish; and Ukrainian drummer Dimitry Kim (Sickrites, Goatpsalm, Balance Interruption).

You can now explore ‘Thermogravimetry Warp Continuum‘ by means of the streaming embed below; it will be released by Larval Productions on June 6th.
