Finnish noise/alternative rockers THROAT has unveiled the details of their upcoming sophomore album release, ‘Bareback‘.
The highly anticipated new album will arrive from Svart Records on August 31st and finds THROAT plunging headfirst into unprotected encounters, with musical elements hardly even hinted at on previous releases. Not to fret though, the band’s traditional uses of dissonance and feedback remain intact amid enhanced dynamics and harmony.
‘Bareback’ was recorded by Tom Brooke at Tonehaven Recording Studio, while Andrew Schneider (Unsane, Converge, Cult Of Luna) handled the mixing duties. Carl Saff (Big Business, Kowloon Walled City, Unsane) helmed the mastering, and we are sharing a new single and video from the release, “No Hard Shoulder“.
