The Michigan-based madmen of WILSON will return with a new album, ‘Tasty Nasty‘, via RED Music on August 24th.

The band, aka Chad Nicefield (vocals), Jason Spencer (lead guitars), Kyle Landry (rhythm guitars), James Lascu (bass), and Matt Puhy (drums), worked alongside Scott The Ninja Stevens to produce the new record.

Advance hype declares the recording to be 11 songs that embrace a musical direction shift for the band, one toward rock with a contemporary crossover of other stylistic influences.

A new single, “Like A Baller“, and its official video seem to indicate a turn towards clear-cut hip-hop tinting in its contents. The video for the song, produced and directed by Raymond Rivard and Chad Nicefield for Tradesmen Films, follows the adventures of a parking valet as he travels the journeys of life and can be seen below.

Nicefield comments: “I just kind of realized who we are as people and our DNA was that of a bunch of lovable, silly dudes that love to make music. That needs to be transparent in our music.

Tasty Nasty‘ is available for pre-order now at THIS LOCATION, while WILSON will soon join Spirit Animal as the pair support Theory Of A Deadman on a U.S. tour throughout July and August. Find the trek’s itinerary HERE.
