October 31st brings the annual reveal of The Maryland Doom Fest upcoming lineup of bands. For 2020, the official roster of all the confirmed bands scheduled to perform over the four days next June is far beyond imagination.

The Maryland Doom Fest will take place once again at Cafe 611 and Guido’s Speakeasy (although Guido’s may have a new name and ownership by June 2020) in Frederick, Maryland, with next year’s events happening June 18th through 21st (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday). There is no “pre-party” for 2020, the festival is now a full #4DaysOfDoom in Frederick.

Riff Relevant is once again extremely honored to co-sponsor the festival for the 2020 events and if you attend, you’ll likely see at least one or two of us roaming around the venues and merch tables. There are a LOT of bands to see in these four days, this year will top all previous years at over fifty bands. Pace yourselves…

Maryland Doom Fest brings both U.S. and international artists from all over the map into Frederick, MD for a full four days of mayhem, featuring the legendary Cirith Ungol and Blood Ceremony, to Speedealer and Mondo Generator set to headline the four nights of top-shelf doom metal and heavy underground sounds! This year includes more than fifty bands to cover every dark and dank corner of metal subgenres across every inch of the stage from start to finish each night.
