The Age Of Truth present their debut full-length album, “Threshold”, with official release on November 1, 2017. Since I wrote this press release, I’m not going to add much else. Okay, maybe one thing… this album is destroying my mind. It’s just that damned good. These gents have produced one finely tuned, beautiful work of musical creativity here.
“Threshold” is a fully stocked, nine-track arsenal of riffs wrapped in a tone of honey dipped Satan. Blending fuzz and diesel fuel with elements of heavy blues, stoner rock, and psychedelia, it is the perfect soundtrack for a barroom brawl.
The Age Of Truth is (left to right in the photo below) Michael DiDonato (Guitars), Kevin McNamara (Vocals), William Miller (Bass Guitar, Vocals), and Adam Lauver (Drums); four brothers-in-arms from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
“Threshold” premiered in full stream October 17th, courtesy of TheObelisk.net, and the album is now available for digital pre-order on iTunes, along with CD, digital download and full-stream pre-orders via Bandcamp. The official November 1st release date brings availability to Spotify and Amazon.
The début album was self-produced by The Age Of Truth and published by Hammerhead Music. With recording, engineering, and mixing by Joseph Boldizar at Retro City Studios in Philadelphia, PA; mastering by Carl Saff at Saff Mastering Chicago, IL; album design and artwork by Michele Fitzgerald; and art direction by Damien Rizzello and The CHAOS Custom, this is indeed a full package début.
The independent heavy rock label Kozmik Artifactz will release “Threshold” on CD and high quality, 180gram, limited-edition vinyl pressing in early 2018.
