Asheville, North Carolina’s Temptations Wings have had an amazing year with 2017 so far. In March, they released their full-length debut, the conceptual masterpiece “Skulthor Ebonblade“. The album’s enthralling tale of mythical warriors, malevolent practitioners of black magic, bloodthirsty warfare and mayhem in general resonated well with critics all around the world. Seattle sludgemongers Old Iron have returned with their sophomore outing, “Lupus Metallorum“, released today (Friday, Aug. 18) via the Good To Die label. If you know anything about Old Iron (aka Jesse Roberts, Jerad Shealey and Trent McIntyre) then you know they create some intensely powerful music.
