Hardcore heavyweights Terror is back with a brand new EP release, ‘The Walls Will Fall‘ due out April 28th through Pure Noise Records. The iconic band hit its fifteenth year of activity in 2017 so what better way to mark the occasion than with a scathing new effort?

If you know anything about Terror, it’s that they are a straight-forward, aggressive-as-all-get-out entity of uncompromising severity. They more than merely channel aspects of anger, agitation, and aggression into their music. No, instead they allow that volatility to permeate each moment and every note of what they create and then execute. Make no mistake, this EP is no change in that formula, either. Besides, why change what works and works so well that it has kept you alive for nearly two decades? For Scott Vogel (vocals), Nick Jett (drums), Jordan Posner (guitar), Martin Stewart (guitar), and David Wood (bass), you don’t mess with the tried and true.

That approach is the underlying foundation for the five songs unleashed on this EP. From the first chords of “Balance The Odds, the barrage begins and never lets up as it chugs onward like a locomotive. Razor-sharp guitars slice the air prior to things erupting into a frenzied flurry of machine-gun drums and acidic vocals.

Like a shark with the taste of blood, things only get increasingly more savage with each track. “The Walls Will Fall“, “Kill’em Off“, “No Love Lost” and “Step To You” each deliver bone-crushing blow after blow. “Kill’em Off” reaches near speed metal velocity, while the latter two cuts will pummel you damn near senseless. Monstrous riffs, ground-shuddering rhythms, and kit-splintering drums… it’s all here! Not just present, but with intense traditional elements like breakdowns and gang vocals.

So, whether you are an aged pit warrior who has survived years of sonic savagery or perhaps a wild-ass whippersnapper just coming up, it matters not. If a tumultuous tempest of metallic Hardcore is what you seek, then Terror has what you need. It’s their about-to-be-released ‘The Walls Will Fall‘ EP… check it out at your own risk!

On a related note, Terror will embark on a U.S. tour run for the new EP in May. Support will be provided by God’s Hate and Abuse Of Power.
