Following up on the recent news of an upcoming new album release, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania‘s retro-fantastique Ruby The Hatchet is back with something to watch.

That something is their sci-fi throwback visualizer for the title track of their imminent stoner psych-rock album offering, ‘Planetary Space Child‘. The video was created by Jordan Vance (Inter Arma, Windhand) for 3grit.com.

The album Planetary Space Child’ is set to drop on August 25th via Tee Pee Records.

“We didn’t realize ‘Planetary Space Child’ was going to be the title track for the album, but it ended up being the perfect summation,” says Ruby The Hatchet vocalist Jillian Taylor. “Lyrically, this song is a perspective play from ancient kings to sci-fi space beings. Create. Destroy. Repeat. It’s an imaginative play on the cyclical nature of humanity, and the music rides the theme; don’t I know you from another world?”

Ruby The Hatchet is about to embark on some live dates next week, they include a slot at this year’s Psycho Las Vegas music festival in Las Vegas, Nevada.
