The Genova, Italy-spawned NAAT is quite the grandiose deliver of monumentally epic instrumental compositions. Plied with copious excesses of progressive and post-metal, along with emotionally-enriched doom and sludge emanations, NAAT simply is a trailblazer.
There is nothing more adequately convincing of this than the band’s 2016 S/T début for Argonauta Records. Although issued a little over a year ago, this eponymously titled behemoth continues to astound and amaze listeners. Whether they are well-rounded longtime purveyors of NAAT or just an unfamiliar, underground denizen happening upon either the band or this album, neither can be ignored.
The best, most likely convincing experience that anyone could undergo would be a firsthand introduction to NAAT. Not just their music alone either, despite how incredible it is. Instead, the fullest package possible is one that includes the unit’s haunting, engulfing visual accompaniment and that is exactly what we have for you today.
Don’t hesitate or be apprehensive, come open wide your ocular intakes for the premiere of NAAT‘s new visualizer, “Baltoro“! It is unlike anything you will witness anywhere at this time and once viewed, there is no going back. Hell, why would anyone want to?
