Most people know Jason Charles Miller as the vocalist of the 2000’s era goth / nu-metal band gODHEAD, but in recent years, he’s worked as a song co-writer and voice actor.
Miller has also been pursuing a career as an outlaw country music artist and will release the new album, “In The Wasteland“, on June 15th, through Red Music / Sony. Matt Hyde (Slayer, Deftones) produced and mixed that effort, which finds him backed by legendary drummer, Kenny Aronoff (Joe Walsh, John Mellencamp, John Fogerty).
The album includes an impressive roster of guests too, including Rickey Medlocke and Peter Keys of Lynyrd Skynyrd fame, King’s X front-man / bassist Dug Pinnick, Charlie Starr of Blackberry Smoke and others.

Miller offered the following about the upcoming album saying:
“For me, the defining thing about ‘In The Wasteland‘ is that it’s a culmination of my entire life. From the many different styles of music that have influenced me over the years, to the lyrics that are a mixture of observational storytelling and pure emotional ferocity – some songs are collaborations or even duets, and others were written alone in a darkened room.
If you’ve followed the journey of my career as an entertainer, you’ll hear every place I’ve been, and where I ended up today. I’ve released a lot of music in the last few years for a lot of various projects – other artists, video games, TV shows, musicals and films – but this is my first solo album in six years… you can bet I’ve got a lot to say!”
