Billy Corgan, James Iha, and Jimmy Chamberlin – or as most folks know them, the reunited Smashing Pumpkins – have made good on something they have claimed all along: New Music.

We now get to hear the evidence substantiating that claim as “Solara“, the trio’s first offering since 2000, has arrived. It is not at all bad either, revealing that it would seem the band’s chemistry is still there .

Produced by Rick Rubin, the song also features longtime guitarist Jeff Schroeder. The song will get its television debut this Monday, June 11th, when Smashing Pumpkins appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform it live.
