DOOM SERVICE Share Non-Doom Posi-Punk ‘The Uncanny Doom Service’ Stream; Live Dates

(By Pat ‘Riot’ Whitaker, Senior Writer/Journalist, RiffRelevant.com)

Vermont’s posi-punk ‘core band Doom Service will release their new full-length album, “The Uncanny Doom Service” on April 7th.

With a name like Doom Service, those unfamiliar with the band might come in expecting some downtuned, depressing musical heaviness but such is not the case. Instead, you will get what the band calls “Scooby Doo Punk” or “Punk For Nerds”, an energetic, uplifting attack of feel-good sonics and positivity.

Find out for yourself what this modern take on happy-go-lucky rock sounds like by streaming “The Uncanny Doom Service” from Doom Service in the pre-release stream below.

You can also catch Doom Service live at these upcoming gigs:

April 07 – Winooski, VT at The Monkey House (Album Release Show)
April 11 – Williston, VT at Robot Dog Studio (WBKM Session)
April 15 – Burlington, VT at Side Bar
May 17 – Winooski, VT at The Monkey House
