Oslo’s ominous purveyors of powerful southern-infused, psych-imbued, semi-metallic stoner rock, THE DEVIL AND THE ALMIGHTY BLUES, return with the announcement of a new album.

TRE‘ is set to arrive March 29th from Blues For The Red Sun, and with today’s news comes the unveiling of the album details, along with the itinerary for European live dates. The tour dates include Desertfest appearances, as well as shows with Stoned Jesus, Earthless, and more.

THE DEVIL AND THE ALMIGHTY BLUES are poised to make far leaping advances with ‘TRE‘, the band’s third full-length studio album. Once again incorporating inspiration from both American and British blues-based rock of the past, THE DEVIL AND THE ALMIGHTY BLUES establish their musical identity with ample amounts of punk and garage rock, and with just enough of a sludge edge to it all. Never failing to properly channel their Delta Blues influences, the band’s music is heavy, raw, and always unpredictable.

Arnt O. Andersen – Vocals
Kim Skaug – Bass
Petter Svee  – Guitar
Torgeir Waldemar Engen – Guitar
Kenneth Simonsen – Drums

Track list:

01. Salt The Earth
02. One For Sorrow
03. Lay Down
04. Heart Of The Mountain
05. No Man’s Land
06. Time Ruins Everything

THE DEVIL AND THE ALMIGHTY BLUES will release ‘TRE‘ through Blues For The Red Sun on March 29th.
