U.S. metal legends Thrust, whose origins date back to the early 80’s in Chicago, has premiered a new official video, “Sorceress“.
The song hails from the band’s ‘Harvest Of Souls‘, its current album-in-progress for the band’s new label home, Pure Steel Records. The eventual record will be the latest chapter in the Thrust musical legacy, one that began in the Windy City back in 1981.
The band eventually landed on Metal Blade Records where, over the years, it both headlined and shared stages with some of the biggest names in rock and metal – including Motörhead, Twisted Sister, MSG (Michael Schenker Group), and more. Thrust was also the opening act for Judas Priest’s own famed ‘Screaming For Vengeance’ tour.
Throughout the years, Thrust has remained an active, integral unit within the metal underground. The band eventually relocated to L.A. and, in recent years, they have played several prestigious festivals – including Greece’s The Hammers Festival and the 2016 edition of Keep It True.
Check out “Sorceress” now and look out for ‘Harvest Of Souls‘ and forthcoming actions from Thrust.
