WITHERFALL Debut ‘Portrait’ Official Video; Singer Joseph Michael Guests For Upcoming SANCTUARY Tour

(By Pat ‘Riot’ Whitaker, Lead Journalist/Writer, RiffRelevant.com)

2017 saw the release of the phenomenal introduction to the Los Angeles-based progressive power metal band Witherfall, via the “Nocturnes And Requiems” album.

The record is a far-reaching powerhouse of classically influenced music and fiercely channeled talent. Now, one of the strongest tracks from it, the album opening “Portrait“, has been the recipient of the official video process. Feast your eyes – and ears – upon the visualizer below.

On a related note, Witherfall singer Joseph Michael was chosen to pay tribute to the late Sanctuary / Nevermore frontman Warrel Dane as the band’s live vocalist on Sanctuary’s farewell tribute tour. The trek, opening for Iced Earth alongside Kill Ritual, begins this month (itinerary here).

Nocturnes And Requiems is available now via Century Media. Pick up a copy here.

Witherfall is:
Joseph Michael (lead/harmony vocals/keyboard)
Jake Dreyer (lead/rhythm and acoustic guitars)
Steve Bolognese (Drums/Percussion)
Anthony Crawford (bass)
Fili Bibiano (Guitar)
