APOSTLE OF SOLITUDE Premiere ‘Keeping The Lighthouse’ Official Video; ‘From Gold To Ash’ Imminent

(By Pat ‘Riot’ Whitaker, Lead Journalist/Writer, RiffRelevant.com)

As the February 23rd Cruz Del Sur Music release of their new album From Gold To Ash nears, Apostle Of Solitude are debuting an official video from the record.  Check out “Keeping The Lighthouse” below.

Anticipation for the new album is running high, bolstered in part by the band’s recent sharing of another track, “My Heart Is Leaving Here“.  That song and today’s are alluring presentations from one of the U.S.’ most revered heavy doom bands.

The powerhouse Apostle Of Solitude, guitarist / vocalist Chuck Brown, guitarist / vocalist Steve Janiak, bassist Mike Naish, and drummer Corey Webb, have poured their hearts and souls into the new opus.  You can hear it in each note and vocal line of From Gold To Ash.  The dual vocals of Brown and Janiak, along with their guitar harmonies, are emotive and striking.

The rhythm section of the band and album provides propelling energies and massively dense undercurrents.  Brown’s concussive drums meld with Naish’s (on his first recording with A.O.S.) impacting rhythms, and together they yield quite the load-bearing musical structure.
