The Norwegian one-man atmospheric black metal monstrosity that is MYRHOLT is streaming the newly-released two-song ‘Vinter‘ EP.

The man behind the project’s moniker is Ole Alexander Myrholt, who is known for his work with such acts as Archon, Diabolical Breed, Enslavement Of Beauty, Gaia Epicus, The Flame Within, Those Left Behind, and more recently as the drummer for Mork.

His recent foray into issuing the MYRHOLT material – some of which dates back to 1992, being written and recorded by a 14-year-old Ole – has yielded some of the finest contemporary black metal. The two songs here, “Heimdall” and “Hieros Gamos“, are fantastic selections that highlight the beauty and aggression of the MYRHOLT capabilities.
