KHEMMIS North American ‘Desolation’ Tour 2019 w/ CLOAK

Denver, Colorado’s heavy, progressive doom metal unit KHEMMIS announce the upcoming North American “Desolation” Tour 2019 with their guests, CLOAK.

The sixteen date tour will kick-off July 11th at Growlers in Memphis, Tennessee. From there, the trek will make stops in Nashville, Richmond, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Detroit, Chicago, and other active markets before concluding at Nightspot in Bloomington, Illinois on July 28th.

The road run is to support the newest album from KHEMMIS, last year’s highly praised outing from Nuclear Blast, ‘Desolation‘ (streaming). The band’s third album has been hailed as the definitive expression of the spectrum-crossing abilities KHEMMIS possesses and their flare for progressing songwriting. Drawing from diverse musical wells that include classic power metal and traditional proto-doom influences, the quartet leads the pack when it comes to adventurous heavy metal.

Joining them for the upcoming journey are Atlanta’s suspenseful, black metal-tinged, heavy rockers, CLOAK. They just released the ‘2 Hits From Hell‘ EP this week from Midnight Cruiser Records – featuring a cover of Misfits’ “London Dungeon” and a 2015 demo version of their own “Forever Burned“. Before heading out with KHEMMIS in July, CLOAK will be part of “The Spectral Storm Tour” in April with UADA and Wormwitch, including a stop at Psycho Smoke-Out Fest*. These dates are also being included in the listings for both tours below.

KHEMMIS shared their excitement about the imminent live actions, saying:

We’re excited to hit the road for our first proper headlining tour in support of Desolation. This trek features our first Southeastern shows as well as dates in some of our favorite cities/venues, including Saint Vitus in Brooklyn and Reggies in Chicago. If that wasn’t enough, we’re bringing black ‘n’ roll maniacs Cloak with us! Make sure you grab your tickets early, since these are our only eastern US and Canadian shows for 2019. Brush up on the lyrics, practice your air guitar moves, and catch us on tour this summer!

Tickets for the upcoming KHEMMIS North American Tour with CLOAK will go on sale at 10:00 AM local time this Friday, April 5th through all usual outlets. For more information visit this LINK.
